Reviews

Communications and Events Intern

August 2022 - September 2022 York, England
“I really liked the mix between In person & Remote work, enabling flexible working. The fact I had project goals enabled me to set timely aims to achieve each week. Working with the Halifax / Wentworth Team allowed me to learn much more about the college system and Postgrads enabling me to be successful in other Uni roles. I liked being able to learn new technologies from this role (Eventbrite, Canva, Mailjet, Bit.ly)”

Project Assistant Intern

July 2022 - July 2022 York, England
“My internship with Inclusive Learning enabled me to get involved with a project that tends to improve students’ experience and make a difference in the community of which I am also a part. Moreover, it gave me an opportunity to directly work with University staff and members, which I see as a very rewarding addition to my overall University experience. A day in life interning with the toolkit team was dynamic and it included different modes of working and opportunities to participate in the workplace. During my internship, I enjoyed a welcoming working environment the most because I think that is an essential factor for productivity. Throughout my internship, I was also looking forward to the outcomes because I think that the recommendations and resources that we have gathered will make a change in students' well-being and education experience. Moreover, this internship gave me the opportunity to strengthen many valuable transferable skills that I can certainly use in my future career. It helped me to hone my research skills as it was heavily based on the desk-based research that was needed in order to review and further develop new resources. ”
